The Roland TD-50X gives you 70 premium acoustic drum kits at your fingertips. Designed in collaboration with top drummers and recording engineers, these inspiring kits cover every style. If that's not enough, 900 high-quality instrument sounds are available for creating up to 30 more custom user kits.
In all of them, you can edit countless parameters down to the last detail - just like an acoustic kit. Change tuning and damping on the fly or dive deep into sound shaping: choose between different virtual shell sizes, head types, cymbal characteristics and other parameters. Using PureAcoustic Ambience, you can add a virtual room sound to your custom User Kit, including room size, reverb, and stereo width.
Maximum compatibility
To process your drum sounds outside the module, the TD-50X offers a wide range of possibilities for every situation. For example, the TD-50X has ten freely assignable balanced outputs that you can use to send any signal, individual instruments or the complete kit as a stereo sum, with or without effects, to the engineer at FOH. For recording, the TD-50X provides you with 32 digital audio channels, MIDI and USB.
The TD-50X is the biggest of the drum modules playable with Roland's Digital Pads. Combined with the digital snare, digital hi-hat, digital ride cymbal and, of course, drum-tec Pro 3 pads, it reproduces your performance with absolute fidelity and delivers the finest, most expressive and powerful drum sounds.
If you ever run out of pads in the drum-tec Pro 3 configuration you've selected here, you don't have to worry about that with the TD-50X either: It is designed for a total of 14 trigger inputs! That's enough for additional drum-tec eBans, FX cymbals, china cymbals, additional tom pads or a second bass drum.
Extensive practice functions
The functions of the module offer you several features that can help you to improve your drumming. The Warm Up mode gives you a daily practice routine that will take your skills to a new level. The Coach mode with Time Check and Quiet Count will make your timing more precise and lasting.
You can stream your favorite songs from YouTube or Spotify from a laptop or smartphone to the TD-50X, allowing you to drum to your heroes on your headphones. Audio files as loops or sequences can be imported via the SD card slot and assigned to any of the pads.

Scope of delivery of the Roland TD-50X sound module
Das ist echt nochmal eine Schüppe drauf, habe seit 2023 ein VAD 507 und nun das TD-50X Modul , da ich gerne "Schraube" genau das richtige für mich , und ich fand das TD2-27 Modul schon gut, von mir gibt es eindeutig eine Kaufempfehlung.

das „rundeste“ System…ß)
MEn - seit Nachreichung der X „Erneuerung“ und mit den digitalen Triggern insgesamt das rundeste System / Produkt / Modell am Markt.
Akustisch liefert es eine enorme Bandbreite an Kits in extrem schneller Reaktion / praktisch nicht spürbarer Latenz. Mag sein, daß manch höher gezüchtete Samples auf anderen Systemen noch einen Tick „besser“ klingen bzw der dynamischen Roland-Synthese überlegen sind - aber ich bezweifle sehr, daß dies jemand auf der Bühne oder im Mix noch irgendjemand heraushören könnte.
Kein Modul erlaubt derart flexible Einsatzszenarien.
Die Verarbeitung ist sehr robust.

Ihr wolltet tüfteln - jetzt könnt ihr tüfteln :-)
Die Möglichkeiten sind wahnsinnig gut, können einen aber gerade am Anfang überfordern. Man muss am Ball bleiben, bis man erkannt hat, welches Potential darin steckt. Der größte Unterschied zwischen TD-20x / TD-30 und dem TD-50X ist in meinen Augen, dass die Sounds vom TD-50x von Hause aus nicht mehr gefärbt sind. Die überwiegenden Presets Klingen sehr echt und unbehandelt. Das führt natürlich dazu, dass weniger den Wow-Effekt hat, wenn man das Gerät anschaltet. Die andere Seite der Medaille ist natürlich dann, das man aber auch hier viel mehr Möglichkeiten hat auf den Sound Einfluss zunehmen. Insbesondere beim routing von Effekten und Ausgängen hat man hier richtig „was gemacht“ - so kann ich damit viel bessere Aufnahmen machen.
Man braucht seine Zeit - dranbleiben!

Très bien mais problème du logiciel avec le charleston VH14 D
Module TD50 upgradé TD50X acheté le 18 mai 2021 chez Drumtec. Le module fonctionne avec mon kit Drumtec Diabolo, la qualité des sons d'usine n'est pas terrible, mais grâce aux samples que l'on peut télécharger et à la Live Sound Edition de Drumtec, on arrive à avoir d'excellents sons. Il y a une multitude de réglages possibles, et la fonction de superposition de deux sons est utile (par exemple vous pouvez trouver un bon son de caisse claire, et lui superposer un sample d'harmoniques pour créer une résonnance plus naturelle). Tout fonctionne très bien et c'est un plaisir de jouer sur un instrument électronique rendu aussi expressif. Il faut tout de même prévoir beaucoup de temps pour bien appréhender tous les réglages possibles. Il y a un bémol : le charleston VH14D numérique ne fonctionne pas correctement, en raison d'un problème logiciel apparemment => la fonction d'étouffement ("choke sens") de ce pad doit être désactivée, sinon il y a des dysfonctionnements et le sons devient sec, même ouvert. L'ouverture n'est plus détectée. Il semble que la désactivation de la fonction d'étouffement supprime ce problème. A ce niveau de prix, cela est décevant de la part de Roland qui connaît ce défaut et ne l'a pas encore résolu. Il y a de nombreux foums sur ce sujet et des vidéos. Le même problème se produit aussi sur les TD27.
