The PD-14DSX is included with every V-Drums 7 Series kit, offering a highly natural playing experience when paired with the V71 module. With precise positional sensing and over 16,000 velocity variations, the pad captures even the finest nuances, from hard hits to soft touches. The hand position is automatically detected, allowing for smooth transitions between different playing techniques. The newly designed pad structure resembles an acoustic snare, featuring a rubber hoop and standard rim height. A throw-off mechanism allows for easy toggling of the virtual snare, while a knob controls snare tension and additional assignable functions.
