The new PWorkout bass drum exercise pad is a very compact exercise tool for ambitious drummers or the business travelers who don't want to miss working on their technical drum skills. The playing surface is made of a padded rubber cover and provides a very authentic playing feeling, with a positive side effect: The Practice Pad plays significantly more quiet than some competing products such as the RealFeel Pad from Evans.
Practice Pads allow the drummer to get a better overview of how to play exercises and stickings. The focus is much better on how to perform the exercises than on the acoustic or electric drums. Once the exercises have been mastered on the exercise pad, they can be performed on the drums.
This practice pad does what is promised. But who for heaven's sake came up with the idea of putting red rubber on it!? Black rubber coating would be okay and look better. So I masked off the red and put a black cover over the pad, which makes it even quieter to practice with.

Erstaunlich realistisch !!!
Hab mir dieses Pad bei drum-tec gekauft um auf Reisen oder Urlaub etwas an meiner Ausdauer der Füße arbeiten zu können und ging davon aus, dass es sich hierbei um ein einfaches Stück Gummi auf einem Ständer handelt. Fehlanzeige: Dieses Übungspad lässt sich erstaunlich gut spielen. Der Aufbau und Abbau ist super schnell erledigt. Es besitzt Anti-Rutsch Gummis an den Seiten und das Pad Kissen überzeugt durch ein wirklich authentisches Spielgefühl. Die Fixierung des Bass drum Pedals ist höhenverstellbar, so dass man unterschiedliche Pedale verwenden kann ( hab zwei Pedal mit DW5000 & Iron Cobra ). Ich habe dieses Pad nirgendwo anders gesehen und war mir nicht sicher ob ich die richtige Kau- Entscheidung getroffen habe, aber ich wurde eines besseren belehrt ;) Dank drum-tec. Von meiner Seite aus : Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!
