The DWe 14" Electronic HiHat Cymbal DECMHH14 is a wireless electronic hi-hat with two metal cymbals for top and bottom. The metal playing surfaces combine the construction of a traditional hi-hat with electronic trigger detection via the DWe DrumLink system. Within the DWe system, three separate playing zones are available for edge, bow and bell, while 360-degree detection allows the hi-hat to rotate freely on the stand. The two-piece construction also supports pedal control and foot-splash playing techniques.

Compatibility and requirements

• A DWe DrumLink Wireless Hub or Roland DH-10 is required for wireless operation. (Both are available to order in our shop.)
• A suitable standard hi-hat stand with an upper tube opening of 1" diameter is required for mounting.
• When connected to a computer, the DrumLink Hub transfers the trigger data to the DWe system. DW Soundworks acts as the software sound module, while DWe Control is used for pairing, calibration and trigger settings.
• Via the DWe DrumLink Hub, the hi-hat can also be used with compatible Roland sound modules, including the TD-50X, TD-27, V31, V51 and V71.
• The Roland TD-50X requires at least system version 1.10, while the TD-27 requires at least system version 2.10.
• Important: When used with the TD-50X, TD-27, V31, V51 or V71, the bell zone of the DWe hi-hat is not supported.
