The DWe 14" Electronic Crash/Ride Cymbal DECMCR14 is a wireless electronic Crash/Ride cymbal with a metal playing surface. The metal playing surface combines the construction of an acoustic cymbal with electronic trigger detection via the DWe DrumLink system. Within the DWe system, three separate playing zones for edge, bow and bell are available, together with a choke function at the edge. The 360-degree trigger detection allows the cymbal to rotate freely on the stand.

Compatibility and requirements

• A DWe DrumLink Wireless Hub or Roland DH-10 is required for wireless operation.
• A suitable cymbal stand is required for mounting.
• When connected to a computer, the DrumLink Hub transfers the trigger data to the DWe system. DW Soundworks acts as the software sound module, while DWe Control is used for pairing, calibration and trigger settings.
• Via a compatible DrumLink Hub, the cymbal can also be used with Roland sound modules including the TD-50X, TD-27, V31, V51 and V71.
• When using the DWe DrumLink Wireless Hub, the Roland TD-50X requires at least system version 1.10, while the TD-27 requires at least system version 2.10.
• Important: When used with the TD-50X, TD-27, V31, V51 or V71, the bell zone of the DWe Crash/Ride cymbal is not supported.
